Job summary

Luxoft, a DXC-Luxoft Murex practice, seeks an experienced Test Manager to lead testing strategy and execution for complex Murex projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive SIT, UAT and regression testing, develop test templates, and coordinate with Front/Back Office streams for robust quality delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in Murex testing, deep knowledge of financial products, and proven ability to work with technical leads, PMs and business analysts across the project lifecycle,

Qualifications

• 9+ years of test management experience in Murex.
• Knowledge of financial market products and their lifecycle.
• Experience with Murex setup and functional testing across modules.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience collaborating with technical leads, project managers and business analysts.
• Experience executing tests across the software development lifecycle.
• Murex migration project experience.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategy and QA framework for Murex projects.
• Plan and manage SIT, UAT and regression testing phases.
• Manage test case preparation, data preparation and test cycles.
• Create and maintain templates for test plans, execution and defect reports.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, ERM and interfaces for test cases.
• Track test execution progress, defects, deliveries and sign-off activities.
• Coordinate with project managers and IT teams to ensure SIT/UAT sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Define the testing strategy and framework to ensure a high standard of testing and quality assurance is in place
• Plan and manage various phases of testing (SIT, UAT & Regression)
• Manage the test case preparation, test data preparation, test cycles
• Create test case template, test execution status reports template, and defects reports template (consolidated report from CRM and JIRA extracts).
• Work with business and technical SME(s) for each stream like Front Office, Back Office, ERM, Interfaces etc. for detailed test case development as per the design documents.
• Perform test execution progress and Issues (Daily, Weekly) during the test execution phase and track defect fixes and delivery, and deployment, and drive quality closure of defects
• Co-ordinate with Bank's Project Manager, Murex Project Manager, IT team, and entire project team for successful completion and sign-off of SIT and UAT

SKILLS

Must have

• 9+ years of relevant Test Management experience for Murex
• Knowledge on financial market products and their lifecycle
• Experience on Murex setup and functional tests using various modules of Murex is desirable
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in working direct with Technical leads, project managers, and Business Analysts in business and IT organizations
• Experience of the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
• Murex Migration project experience
