Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour in Malaysia is seeking a shift supervisor to lead the restaurant team and ensure top-quality guest experiences. You will supervise staff, uphold service standards, and help maintain efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires coordinating schedules, training crew, and enforcing safety and sanitation procedures while collaborating with management to improve processes and guest satisfaction.

Responsabilidades

• Directly supervises team members, provides verbal recognition, guidance, and support.
• Communicates restaurant, regional, and corporate procedures to staff.
• Evaluates work procedures with managers to improve efficiency and respond to needs.
• Trains and empowers employees to adhere to training standards for service quality.
• Monitors performance and workload to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Creates and adjusts weekly schedules to meet demand and trends.
• Coaches staff to maintain a high-quality workforce and meet standards.
• Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Listens to feedback from customers and team to identify strengths and opportunities.
• Greets staff at shift start to promote a positive atmosphere.
• Prepares menu items to assist employees when needed.
• Prepares the kitchen and staff for opening according to standards.
• Opens and closes kitchens with another manager present.
• Monitors and controls food and labor costs using established methods.
• Inspects equipment and conducts routine maintenance or minor repairs.
• Checks product levels and storage to ensure freshness and proper sanitation.
• Performs kitchen inventory with KM.
• Supervises deliveries and verifies product quality and billing.
• Communicates with managers to ensure cleaning duties are completed.
• Writes prep lists to ensure correct product amounts are prepared.
• Places orders with vendors to maintain adequate stock.
• Inspects, tastes and checks food/bar items for freshness and recipe adherence.
• Expedites food preparation by monitoring lead times and ticket times.
• Performs tasks such as preparing menu items to ensure guest experience quality.
