Job summary

Great Eastern is seeking a seasoned Multi-Cloud Platform Engineer to build and operate resilient cloud environments in AWS and Oracle Cloud, aligning with security, networking, and development teams. The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and governance across CTLZ and OCI Landing Zones.

You will lead requirement gathering for app onboarding, assess architectures, and guide cloud adoption with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years IT experience, 5+ years hands-on Cloud Platform/Cloud Engineer work.
• 5+ years automation experience (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong DevOps tooling experience (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, CodeStar).
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or OCI Architect or Cloud Security certs.
• 3–5 years in high-demand, fast-paced environments.
• Strong expertise in scalability, security, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Cloud Operations across AWS and OCI ecosystems.
• Design, implement, and optimize infrastructures with Terraform, CloudFormation, and OCI Resource Manager.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeStar and CodePipeline, OCI DevOps.
• Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Governance through AWS Control Tower and OCI Landing Zones.
• Document architectures, procedures, and post-incident analyses.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and App Development teams.
