Job summary

NTT DATA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced OCI Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable OCI infrastructure. You will collaborate with Security, App‑Dev and Architecture teams to deliver well‑architected solutions that meet enterprise standards and compliance requirements.

The role emphasizes hands‑on work with OCI Core Services, IaC tooling (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager), and DevOps pipelines. Strong scripting (Python) and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with OCI networking, compute, storage, security, automation and governance.
• Ability to design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable OCI infrastructure.
• Strong collaboration with Security, App-Dev and Architecture teams to deliver well‑architected cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain OCI infrastructure including Compute, Block/Object Storage, Autonomous DB and networking components.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager for repeatable deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using OCI DevOps, Bamboo, Bitbucket and Terraform Cloud.
• Drive cost optimization through right-sizing, autoscaling and performance tuning.
• Document architectures, SOPs and incident RCA reports; advise on OCI best practices.
