Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree in CS or a related field.
• 8+ years IT experience with cloud platforms.
• 5+ years hands-on as Cloud Platform Engineer managing CTLZ or OCI Landing Zone.
• Automation experience using Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and tools like Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and CodeStar.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer, and your role is as follows:

Job Requirements:

• Manage and optimise core services across the AWS Control Tower Landing Zone (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and the OCI Landing Zone (Compute, Block Storage, Autonomous Database, Functions).
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance across hybrid environments.
• Lead requirement gathering and technical discovery for applications onboarding to AWS and OCI.
• Assess application architectures, dependency models, security requirements, and non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, and compliance.
• Partner closely with application teams to guide cloud adoption strategies aligned to business and technical objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years hands-on as a Cloud Platform Engineer or Cloud Engineer, specifically managing an AWS Control Tower Landing Zone (CTLZ) or an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Landing Zone.
• At least 5 years of automation experience using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of DevOps pipelines and tooling such as Bamboo, Ansible, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, and CodeStar.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or higher.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect or higher.
• Cloud security certification such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent.
