Job summary

LIAN HONG GROUP (LHG) in Malaysia seeks an Inside Sales / Telesales Manager – Motor Insurance Renewal to lead a digital renewal sales team, contacting existing customers via telephone, WhatsApp and other digital channels to secure renewals and maximise retention.

The role focuses on recruiting and coaching the renewal team, setting targets, managing leads and CRM platforms, building dashboards, and delivering regular performance analyses to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a telesales or call-centre sales team.
• Experience in motor/general insurance or high-volume sales environments.
• Hands-on CRM, lead-management and sales-tracking system experience.
• Ability to use data and dashboards to identify performance gaps and improve conversion.
• Strong leadership, coaching and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and manage the renewal sales team.
• Set and monitor daily and monthly targets.
• Manage lead distribution, follow-ups and renewals.
• Use CRM platforms to manage customer leads and activities.
• Build dashboards and reports to track performance.
• Improve sales scripts and WhatsApp workflows.
• Record all interactions and maintain data quality.
• Motivate the team with performance-based incentives.
• Collaborate with dealerships, customers and insurance partners.
• Provide management with regular performance analyses.
