Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in banking or financial services, with a focus on mortgages.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending principles, and the Malaysian property market.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients quickly.
• Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possession of relevant industry certifications or licenses is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage loan opportunities through referrals, networking, and direct sales efforts.
• Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for potential clients to recommend suitable mortgage products and solutions offered by UOB.
• Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, ensuring accurate and complete documentation submission.
• Maintain a strong understanding of UOB's mortgage products, policies, pricing, and market trends and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as credit and operations, to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for mortgage loan volume and other KPIs.
• Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory guidelines.
