Job summary

The role involves proactively cultivating lending opportunities, guiding clients through the application process, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, policies, and regulatory requirements to deliver superior service.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage lending opportunities to achieve individual sales targets.
• Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis with prospective clients to recommend appropriate mortgage products and solutions offered by UOB Malaysia.
• Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, including documentation submission, credit assessment, and legal procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of UOB Malaysia's mortgage products, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., credit, legal, operations) and external partners (e.g., real estate agents, developers) to facilitate smooth mortgage transactions.
• Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the mortgage lending landscape.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales performance and pipeline activities.
• Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory guidelines.
