Job summary

Intel is seeking a Module Engineer to advance semiconductor manufacturing technology in Malaysia. You will work with high-volume equipment and processes to miniaturize devices and enable mass IC production, while focusing on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate globally to align equipment parameters and drive ramp-ups. The role requires hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, SPC proficiency, and strong analytical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in a specialized field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in statistical process control methods and tools.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, process control, and improvement.
• Technical expertise in equipment monitoring, adjustment, and process characterization.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to support IC production.
• Conduct detailed tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity across the process line.
• Recommend and implement process modifications to enhance production efficiencies and manufacturing techniques.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to develop, transfer, and align critical equipment and process parameters for successful factory ramp-ups.
• Manage maintenance and repair activities to ensure equipment readiness and operational reliability.
• Detect and address discrepant materials or equipment activities to prevent excursions.
• Oversee equipment installation, conversion, and qualification processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to manufacturing teams, enhancing technical competency and operational excellence.
