Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading prefabricated modular data center infrastructure provider to hire a Project Planner based in Banting, Selangor, Malaysia, supporting the delivery of modular data center projects for AI, cloud and hyperscale clients.

The role involves developing and updating schedules with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, coordinating with engineers and site teams, and reporting progress with S-curves and critical path analysis.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of planning or scheduling experience in construction or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, plus strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Extension of Time (EOT) claims and the Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Good understanding of resource planning, project scheduling and project controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities; able to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and site teams to keep schedules accurate.
• Monitor progress, identify schedule risks and propose recovery plans.
• Prepare progress reports, including S-curves, bar charts and critical path analysis.
• Integrate project schedules with cost control and resource planning.
• Support tender planning, baselines, and what-if analyses for changes.
• Ensure schedules comply with client requirements and company standards.
