Job summary

Servay Evergreen Sdn Bhd is seeking an MIS Operations Support to join our MIS team. You will help maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure and provide timely technical support to end-users, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.

You will work closely with senior IT staff on system improvements, assist with installations, training, and documentation, while keeping up-to-date with IT industry developments.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or certification in IT support, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate or equivalent.
• 2-3 years minimum experience in a help desk, IT support or MIS operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with network troubleshooting and TCP/IP.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of database systems and enterprise applications is advantageous.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with IT industry developments.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to preventing technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues in a timely manner
• Monitor and maintain management information systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and system configurations in accordance with company policies
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and service requests, documenting issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates and patches to ensure security and stability
• Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations and troubleshooting
• Support backup and disaster recovery procedures to protect critical business data
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Provide user training and technical guidance to promote efficient use of IT systems
