Job summary

Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar is seeking an Assistant/ Events Manager – MICE to lead planning and delivery of meetings, incentives, conferences and events with a modern, guest-focused approach.

You will coordinate with internal teams, manage budgets, and ensure unforgettable client experiences while upholding safety and service standards.

Ideal candidates have a degree and at least 3 years in catering or events supervision, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher education qualification.
• At least 3 years in a catering setting or related field in a supervisory capacity.
• Business language and tool acumen.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as key liaison between teams to drive collaboration and plan activities.
• Complete forecasts, plans and productivity reports to budget with accuracy.
• Ensure successful and memorable client experiences as the primary contact.
• Work closely with planners to build strong working relationships with daily briefings.
• Prioritize guest safety, environmental impact and business needs.
• Conduct pre-event and post-event meetings to continually improve the client experience.
