Job summary

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil is seeking an Assistant Manager (Events Planner) to lead corporate and social events from concept to execution in a fast-paced hotel setting. The role reports to the Senior Director of Sales and requires strong planning, coordination with F&B, housekeeping, and front office, plus excellent client communication and team leadership to deliver flawless events.

Qualifications

• Preferably a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning, with focus on corporate and social events.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating events including meetings, conferences, weddings, and banquets.
• Liaise with clients to understand event needs and translate into detailed plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office) to ensure flawless execution.
• Serve as primary contact for clients during the planning process and conduct site visits.
• Oversee event setup, logistics, and post-event reviews to ensure satisfaction.
