Job summary

UOB Malaysia is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and corporate clients. You will identify client needs and provide comprehensive financial advice across banking, investments and wealth management products.

You will strive to exceed sales targets, review portfolios regularly, prepare financial propositions, and collaborate with product specialists while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; background in banking/financial services preferred.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow client portfolios.
• Strong understanding of banking products, investments, and wealth management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of individual and corporate clients.

• Prepare and present financial proposals and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with product specialists and other internal departments to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system.

Job Qualifications

• Strong understanding of banking products, investment vehicles, and wealth management solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the Malaysian financial sector.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CUTE) are highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; Mandarin or other local dialects would be an added advantage.
