Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an MES IT Support Specialist for a large manufacturing environment in Malaysia. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing OT/IT infrastructure to support seamless operations, troubleshooting automation systems, and strengthening OT cybersecurity.

The candidate will drive Industry 4.0 initiatives, monitor system health, and collaborate with internal and external teams to implement technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in MES development or implementation within large manufacturing.
• Proficiency in programming languages and system integration tools.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA networking.
• Strong project management and vendor coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
