Job summary

Inventec Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented MES Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our MES. You will integrate MES with ERP and QA systems, develop custom software, and support day-to-day MES operations on the Bayan Lepas site.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering/CS and has 2 years of MES design and development experience, with strong C++, Java, or Python skills and IPC/SCADA familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining MES.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Experience with industrial automation, SCADA systems, and PLC programming.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing MES to improve production efficiency and throughput.
• Integrating MES with ERP and quality management for seamless processes.
• Developing custom software to enhance MES functionality.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting MES performance.
• Collaborating with production, quality, and IT to identify process improvements.
• Staying up-to-date with MES trends and applying them to operations.
