Job summary

B. Braun Group Malaysia in Penang is seeking an Assistant Staff Engineer - MES Software Development to advance Manufacturing Execution System initiatives.

You will plan, customize, and support MES deployments, collaborate with template and BMI teams, and coordinate with suppliers. The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT/SE and at least 3 years in MES development across multi-tier stacks (UI, middleware, DB), with hands-on C#, Angular, MS SQL, and REST API experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• At least 3 years of MES development and support across multi‑tier architecture.
• Experience with C#, Angular, MS SQL and low‑code platforms.
• Experience integrating ERP or enterprise systems via REST APIs and strong SQL scripting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Develop & Customize MES, including managing installations on container infrastructure.
• Define, document and track requirements with suppliers; translate needs to features and tasks in DevOps.
• Configure MES processes and master data; present concepts to users.
