Job summary

Inventec Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented MES Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our MES. You will integrate MES with ERP and QA systems, develop custom software, and support day-to-day MES operations on the Bayan Lepas site.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering/CS and has 2 years of MES design and development experience, with strong C++, Java, or Python skills and IPC/SCADA familiarity.

• 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining MES.

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer to join our team at INVENTEC APPLIANCES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our state-of-the-art manufacturing execution system, which is crucial to the efficiency and success of our production operations.

What you'll be doing

Designing, implementing, and optimizing our manufacturing execution system to improve production efficiency and throughput

Integrating the MES with other systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and quality management, to create a seamless and data-driven manufacturing process

Developing custom software and applications to enhance the functionality and capabilities of the MES

Providing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure the MES is operating at optimal performance

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and IT, to identify and implement process improvements

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in manufacturing execution systems and applying them to our operations

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
