Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Merchandising professional to source and purchase goods, coordinate with suppliers, and optimize product flow within a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 2–3 years' experience in merchandising or retail operations, strong negotiation and analytical skills, proficient Excel use, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Retail teams to achieve margin targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 2–3 years of merchandising/retail operations experience.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase goods to meet cost, quality, and margin targets.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers on samples, pricing, delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations, Marketing and Retail teams for product flow.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Conduct market and sales analysis to optimize product mix and pricing.
• Visit retail outlets to assess merchandising standards and support sales.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
