Job summary

Mywisehome Sdn Bhd is seeking a foreign trade professional to manage import/export operations and drive merchandising strategies for optimal product placement and sales.

The role requires 1+ year of related experience, strong knowledge of trade laws, and excellent negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in foreign trade, merchandising, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of import/export procedures, documentation, and international trade laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for trade management and merchandising.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of foreign trade operations, including import and export processes.
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, visual appeal, and sales performance.
• Source and negotiate with international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality of goods.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and product innovations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless product flow.
• Prepare and present regular reports on foreign trade activities, sales performance, and merchandising effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and customs requirements.
