Job summary

Hong Kong Sa Sa (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Merchandising Support Officer to provide administrative and system support to the Merchandising team in our Kuala Lumpur office. You'll assist with product information maintenance, set up POS promotions, and ensure data accuracy across ERP and POS systems while delivering reliable day-to-day administrative support in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Merchandising or related discipline.
• 2 years of working experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/POS systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up POS promotions according to approved promotion mechanics and timelines.
• Input and update promotion details in the POS/ERP system.
• Ensure promotion prices, discount mechanics, effective dates and product information are accurately captured.
• Conduct basic checking to ensure promotions are correctly reflected in the system.
• Assist Merchandising team in resolving POS promotion-related issues.
• Maintain proper records of promotion setup and related documentation.
• Create new product/SKU master data in the ERP system based on approved information.
• Update and maintain existing product information, including product descriptions, pricing, brand, category and other relevant details.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry into ERP, POS and other relevant systems based on approved requests.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Merchandising team.
