Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia seeks a Senior Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to oversee installation and commissioning across industrial projects in Johor. You will lead planning, site execution, and coordination with subcontractors to meet client requirements.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 10+ years of construction experience in relevant sectors, with strong piping and utilities knowledge. On-site work in Pasir Gudang is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of construction experience in industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center, or science-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, process piping, utilities and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical, electrical and process installation works including piping, equipment, utilities and process systems.
• Manage construction planning, site execution, subcontractors, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, project specifications and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical and construction issues and drive timely completion.
• Review construction methodologies, work schedules and resource allocation.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
