Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Lead for mechanical and process installation across industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center, and science-related projects. You will coordinate design, procurement, and site teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 10+ years of construction experience in relevant sectors, with strong knowledge of mechanical systems and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (required).
• 10+ years of construction experience in industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center or science-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and process installation works, including piping, equipment, utilities, and process systems.
• Manage construction planning, site execution, subcontractors, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical and construction issues, and drive timely completion.
• Review construction methodologies, work schedules, and resource allocation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
