Job summary

Turner & Townsend SDN. BHD. is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager (Industrial & Science) for KL/Selangor to lead electrical installation, testing and handover on major projects.

You will oversee contractor performance, safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with CSA, Mechanical, Process and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless execution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction management on large-scale projects.
• Proven experience delivering Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, installation standards, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Experience managing multiple contractors and stakeholders in complex construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all electrical construction activities from installation through testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Oversee contractor performance, productivity, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate electrical works with CSA, Mechanical, Process, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review construction methodologies, work packages, method statements, and installation plans.
• Monitor installation of electrical systems including substations, switchgear, transformers, power distribution, generators, UPS, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
• Identify construction risks, technical issues, and schedule constraints, and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead site coordination meetings, progress reviews, and contractor performance discussions.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards.
• Review progress reports, construction status updates, variations, and contractor claims.
• Support testing, energization, commissioning, punch list closure, and final project handover.
