Turner & Townsend in Malaysia is seeking a highly experienced QA/QC professional to lead quality management for MEP works on major projects. You will develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and review ITPs, method statements, and shop drawings.

You will coordinate with designers, contractors, and client representatives to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and local regulations, and drive corrective actions for any non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in mission-critical facilities focusing on MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation standards, testing and commissioning, and international codes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan for MEP works.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, submittals, and shop drawings related to MEP disciplines.
• Lead site quality inspections, audits, and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance, driving corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality observations, root cause analyses, and close-out processes.
• Review testing and commissioning records, FAT/SAT, and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate closely with designers, consultants, contractors, vendors, commissioning teams, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with project requirements, approved drawings, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Track quality KPIs, trends, and metrics, and prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, systems integration, punch list management, defect resolution, and final project handover documentation.

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan for MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV, and associated systems).
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, quality procedures, material submittals, and shop drawings related to MEP disciplines.
• Lead site quality inspections, audits, and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance, driving corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality observations, root cause analyses, and close-out processes.
• Review testing and commissioning records, material certifications, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate closely with designers, consultants, contractors, vendors, commissioning teams, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with project requirements, approved drawings, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Track quality KPIs, trends, and metrics, and prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, systems integration, punch list management, defect resolution, and final project handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of QA/QC experience in Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or other mission-critical facilities, focused on MEP Systems
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation standards, testing and commissioning processes, quality management systems, and applicable international codes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
