Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive MEP BIM Engineer who can manage end-to-end BIM processes from modelling to on-site clash resolution. You will work on live projects, solving technical challenges in real time with project engineers on site.
You will build and maintain 3D MEP models (MEP, Fire Protection) in Revit to LOD 300/400, lead clash detection, and extract shop drawings for installation. Strong CAD and site coordination skills are essential.

We are seeking a proactive, high-energy MEP BIM Engineer who thrives both in the digital model and on the active construction site. You aren’t just a modeler; you are a problem solver. You will be responsible for the end-to-end BIM process from initial modelling to conducting site walks and resolving complex technical clashes in real-time alongside our project engineers.

Develop and maintain detailed 3D MEP models (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) using Revit to LOD 300/400.
Lead clash detection sessions using Navisworks, identifying and resolving interdisciplinary conflicts before they hit the field.
Extract accurate Shop Drawings, Sections, and Schematics from the BIM model for site installation.
Manage and update the BIM database to ensure all "As-Built" information is precise and current.
Active Site Resolution: Conduct regular site walks with respective Discipline Engineers to validate that site conditions match the BIM model.
On-the-Fly Troubleshooting: Identify site constraints and provide immediate technical solutions or model adjustments to keep the construction schedule on track.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure MEP components are fabricated and installed according to the coordinated model.
Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud is a major plus.
MEP Systems Knowledge: A deep understanding of MEP design principles, building codes, and installation sequences.
Site Proficiency: Ability to read architectural and structural blueprints and translate them into site-specific MEP requirements.
Conflict Resolution: Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues independently under tight deadlines.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as an MEP BIM Engineer, preferably in large-scale semiconductor/industrial projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent technical field).
Mindset: Highly proactive and self-motivated. You are comfortable taking ownership of the BIM process without constant supervision.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and site-to-office coordination.
