The Membership Consultant / Brand Ambassador is responsible for driving new membership acquisition, delivering professional sales presentations, converting leads into New Joining Members (NJMs), supporting member onboarding and representing Anytime Fitness Velocity positively within the club and local community. The role requires strong sales discipline, consistent lead follow-up, accurate system updates and a high standard of member service throughout the full sales journey - from first enquiry through onboarding and after-sales follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, manage and convert leads into New Joining Members (NJMs) while achieving individual and team sales targets
• Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally using approved sales processes and scripts
• Qualify prospects and accurately complete guest profiles
• Conduct engaging club tours and identify each prospect's fitness needs and goals
• Present membership options and pricing clearly and professionally
• Handle questions and objections confidently and ethically
• Close membership sales in accordance with approved pricing, payment and company procedures
• Complete all membership agreements, terms and conditions and required supporting documentation accurately
• Enter sales and member information into the approved membership and sales systems promptly and accurately
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly personal activity and sales targets allocated by management

About you

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail or the fitness industry is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Confident speaking with prospects both face-to-face and over the phone
• Sales-driven, target-oriented and comfortable working towards individual and team KPIs
• Strong follow-up discipline with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
• Professional, energetic and member-focused attitude
• Good organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using CRM, membership management, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Ability to work according to the club roster, including weekends and public holidays where operationally required
