Job summary

Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing professional to drive advertising, promotions and events for assigned magazines. You will promote brand value, support the sales team to close deals, and expand advertiser networks through strategic outreach and new packages.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a related field, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a keen interest in media, with digital sales experience a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in related discipline with experience in sales/marketing in media.
• Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate.
• Knowledge of advertising and promotion in the media industry.

Responsibilities

• To handle all matters of advertising, promotions and events for the assigned magazines.
• To promote the branding of the magazine and to support the sales team in closing more sales.
• To establish a list of new contacts and strengthen existing contacts to advertise in our magazines by supporting promotions.
• To plan and strategize sales approach to meet the demands of advertisers.
• Identify clients for the sales team and acquire new advertisers on a long-term basis.
