Job summary

Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad is seeking a Sales Executive to drive new business opportunities across brands, agencies and clients, and to build enduring client partnerships. You will identify opportunities, tailor proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling campaigns.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, pipeline management, and a strong grasp of entertainment and advertising solutions, aligned with Malaysia’s vibrant media landscape.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across brands, agencies and clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media agencies and business partners.
• Actively prospect for new clients and generate a healthy sales pipeline.
• Understand client objectives and recommend Rocketfuel Entertainment solutions across talent, music, content, digital and entertainment platforms.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and commercial packages tailored to client needs.
• Work closely with internal teams including Talent, Content, Video, Marketing and Operations to develop and execute campaigns.
• Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through to proposal, negotiation, closing and campaign handover.
• Achieve individual revenue and sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the entertainment and advertising industry.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities and client information.
• Ensure strong client servicing and follow-up throughout the campaign lifecycle.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, networking events and industry engagements.
