Job summary

Star Media Group Berhad is seeking a proactive Media Sales professional to join the team in Petaling Jaya, selling Print, Digital, Radio, and Events while linking big brands with our diverse audience to deliver high-impact advertising solutions.

As a hunter, you will build elite client relationships, drive revenue, manage agencies and direct clients, and develop growth plans. The role includes attending launches, staying ahead of market trends, and contributing to a high-energy office culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven success in Media, Sales, Business Development, or Digital Advertising.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to think strategically about a client’s brand.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage projects and hit monthly sales KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell the full Star Media Group suite, including Print, Digital, Events, Radio, and Brand Studio services.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned agencies, GLCs, and direct clients, developing custom action plans to ensure ongoing spend and growth.
• Act as the face of the brand at client launches and functions, building trust and making Star Media Group the preferred partner.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing rapid feedback to maintain market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned agencies, GLCs, and direct clients, developing custom action plans to ensure continuous spending and growth.
• Act as the face of the brand at client launches and functions, building deep-rooted trust and ensuring Star Media Group is always the preferred media partner.
• Stay one step ahead by monitoring industry trends and competitor activities, providing rapid feedback to the team to maintain our market leadership.
