Job summary

Star Media Group Berhad is seeking a Sales Executive for the Penang Client Brand Marketing team to drive revenue across Print, Digital, Radio and Events. You will be the strategic link between big brands and our audience, turning creative ideas into high-impact ad solutions.

This hunter role rewards relationship building and quota attainment, with in-house training, a phone allowance, and medical/dental coverage as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven success in Media, Sales, Business Development, or Digital Advertising.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to think strategically about a client’s brand.
• Comfortable with digital advertising trends and standard computer literacy.
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage projects and hit monthly sales KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Portfolio and actively promote and sell the full Star Media Group suite.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned agencies and direct clients, developing custom action plans to ensure continuous spending and growth.
• Act as the face of the brand at client launches and functions, building deep-rooted trust and ensuring Star Media Group is always the preferred partner.
• Stay one step ahead by monitoring industry trends and competitor activities, providing rapid feedback to the team to maintain our market leadership.
