LM EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join the team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing construction machinery, diagnosing issues, and supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, with hands-on experience using tools and diagnostic equipment, and a strong problem-solving mindset. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Technician is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on construction machinery such as scissorlift, boomlift and handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments and replacements.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Perform delivery and conduct training for customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

About the role

LM EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team in Penang. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on our mechanical equipment and machinery. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organization.

What you'll be doing

Perform maintenance ,repair services on construction machinery such as Scissorlift, Boomlift , Handling Equipment.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and replacements

Assist with the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment

Perform delivery job and conduct training to customer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and productivity

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role is an advantage

Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and manuals

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
