About the role

TOPMAJU SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment within our manufacturing and logistics operations. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimising downtime and contributing directly to the productivity and success of our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operational performance
• Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components as required
• Replace worn or damaged parts with appropriate replacements
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and parts used
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Perform routine checks and lubrication of machinery

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification or certification in SKM Automotive, maintenance, or a related
• Proven experience working as a Mechanic in manufacturing or logistics environments
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and equipment operation
