Job summary

HR Exchange Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Manager to lead and coordinate all mechanical and M&E works on a data centre project. You will oversee design reviews, shop drawings, and on-site execution, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of MEP construction experience, with HVAC/ACMV and data centre exposure preferred. Based in Malaysia, willing to work in Seremban/Nilai.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of MEP construction experience.
• Experience in HVAC/ACMV/industrial/cleanroom/data centre/large commercial project environments preferred.
• Strong technical and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mechanical and related M&E works for the project.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Track schedule progress and ensure works are delivered on time.
• Review design documents, shop drawings, technical submissions, and method statements.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Manage mechanical team resources and subcontractor performance.
• Support system testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Leads Mechanical SMEs and coordinates with Electrical Manager, ELV, Fire Safety, EHS, and TS manager.
• Supports system readiness and smooth transition from construction to operations.
• Reports directly to the Park Manager.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Summary:

The Mechanical Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all mechanical works on the project, ensuring compliance with design, schedule, quality, and safety expectations. The role manages stakeholders, technical reviews, site coordination, and execution performance for mechanical scopes.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all mechanical and related M&E works for the project.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Track schedule progress and ensure works are delivered on time.
