Job summary

SLB OneSubsea in Malaysia seeks an experienced design engineer to own the development of subsea product packages, drive high-quality engineering solutions, and mentor junior engineers. You will work with internal clients across the OneSubsea group to ensure the designs meet customer requirements and PEM standards.

Responsibilities include design reviews, vendor interfacing, and leading design activities across R&D and tender projects, with a focus on hydraulic subsea systems and production

Qualifications

• Significant experience with products associated with Subsea Production Control systems including hydraulic systems.
• Competent in mechanical engineering methodologies, calculations and tools including FEA and CAD tools.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring engineers within a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of existing, new and non-standard product packages and develop technical solutions.
• Review and approve engineering output and participate in design reviews.
• Interface with vendors for equipment supply and review submissions.
• Mentor and guide engineers within the team and ensure alignment with PEM and COMPANY procedures.
• Plan and manage design work for R&D, tender work and project execution.
