Job summary

SLB OneSubsea seeks a seasoned engineer to own the design of product packages for subsea systems, including hydraulic components, across R&D, tender and project execution. You will guide designs end-to-end and ensure alignment with PEM and company procedures.

The role requires hands-on CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) and experience with FEA, design reviews, and mentoring engineers. You will interact with internal clients and external vendors to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles, practices and related experience in mechanical/instrumentation engineering.
• Significant experience with Subsea Production Control systems including hydraulic systems.
• Experience with addressing varied situations and issues related to discipline.
• Hands-on experience with non-standard technical challenges.
• Skilled user of relevant design tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of existing, new and non-standard product packages and develop technical solutions.
• Produce designs of enhanced quality (functionality, durability, etc.) for XMT and Wellhead products.
• Review and approve engineering output and conduct design reviews.
• Mentor engineers and interface with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
