Job summary

SBM Offshore in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and engineer solutions with emphasis on safety, reliability and sustainability. You will ensure the scope of work aligns with international codes and SBM standards, and you will lead design activities within defined budgets and timelines.

You may coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and you could act as Package Engineer or Discipline Lead for an assigned scope. A Diploma in engineering and 5–10 years in Oil & Gas are required.

Qualifications

• Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in Oil & Gas projects preferred.
• Ability to follow international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Select methods and procedures, perform work, and optimize design within specifications.
• Plan and complete activities within time and budget, ensuring system interfaces.
• Deliver Scope of Work per contractual and SBM requirements.
• Incorporate lessons learnt and manage changes across project boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties.
