Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Mechanical HW engineer to design and develop mechanical sub-systems for professional and mission-critical markets. You will work on bi-material battery door design, back housing, and related components, coordinating with electrical and software teams to meet safety and thermal requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, strong independent work capability, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with CAD and simulation tools for design optimization.
• Awareness of Scrum/Agile/SAFe is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical sub-systems meeting MIL-STD/ETSI specs.
• Collaborate with Electrical Hardware and Software teams during development.
• Perform DFSS-based design optimization using simulations and experiments.
