Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an intern Mechanical Hardware Engineer to design and develop mechanical sub-systems for professional and mission-critical markets. You will work with a team of engineers to meet MIL-STD/ETSI specifications, using CAD tools for parts design and integrating hardware with software controls.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, be independent, precise in communication, and capable of debugging with test-benches and hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Team-focused and highly self-motivated attitude.
• Attain good debug skills with test-benches and hardware emulation; assist manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical sub-systems for MIL-STD/ETSI compliance.
• Collaborate with electrical, hardware and software teams during product development.
• Perform simulations and compare with experimental data to optimize design using DFSS framework.
