Job summary

Hirehub Group in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and to design layouts, pneumatic lines, cooling systems, and cable routing for efficient assembly and maintenance.

You will perform validation, GD&T, and manage CAD data and BOM records in PLM/ERP systems while collaborating with global teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of related experience are required, with frequent overseas travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment, robotics, or aerospace industries.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, NX, or Creo CAD software.
• Basic knowledge of FEA or thermal simulation is an advantage.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Able to travel overseas frequently for onsite support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
• Design mechanical layouts, pneumatic lines, cooling systems, and cable routing for efficient assembly and maintenance.
• Conduct interference checks and design validation to ensure proper system integration and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform laboratory testing to evaluate component durability, thermal performance, and mechanical stress.
• Apply GD&T standards and manage engineering drawings, design changes, CAD data, and BOM records in PLM/ERP systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during supplier manufacturing, system integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and support the evaluation of new product features and market requirements.
