Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor, is seeking a production-focused engineer to drive efficiency, output, yield and cost improvements across manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

The role collaborates with Process, Equipment, and Quality teams, requiring a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field and at least 2 years' experience in semiconductor/high-volume manufacturing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production operations and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience in yield improvement, KPI management and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in MEMS, semiconductor or precision manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities and ensure output, quality and productivity targets are achieved.
• Identify production bottlenecks and drive improvements in yield, efficiency and manufacturing costs.
• Optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment and materials to support production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with Process, Equipment and Quality teams to implement effective solutions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Train, develop and monitor production operators to ensure effective team performance.
• Support customer audits and ensure production processes comply with relevant requirements and standards.
