Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Senai, Johor, Malaysia, to develop 3D models and 2D drawings for semiconductor equipment. You will design layouts for cooling, pneumatics, and cable routing, and perform design validation to ensure safe system integration.

You should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years of design experience and be proficient in SolidWorks, NX, or Creo. Travel overseas frequently for onsite support is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment, robotics or aerospace.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, NX, or Creo CAD software.
• Certified Level 1 GD&T competency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical and electromechanical components.
• Design mechanical layouts, pneumatic lines, cooling systems, and cable routing.
• Conduct interference checks and validation for safe system integration.
• Perform laboratory testing to evaluate durability, thermal performance, and mechanical stress.
• Apply GD&T standards and manage CAD data and BOM in PLM/ERP systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during supplier manufacturing, system integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to evaluate new product features.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Basic knowledge of FEA or thermal simulation is an advantage.

Location: Senai, Johor
