Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor, seeks a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop and optimize assembly processes, tooling, and SOPs from technical drawings. You will participate in DFM reviews and support new product trials to ensure efficient, quality production.

Fresh graduates welcome. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are essential; Mandarin is preferred for China team liaison.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing/Process Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize assembly processes, workflows, SOPs, and work instructions from technical drawings.
• Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and gauges to improve efficiency and quality.
• Participate in DFM reviews and support new product trials and assembly validation.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot assembly issues and implement productivity improvements.
• Monitor critical quality points to ensure conformance to design and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including drawings, process flows, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to standardize processes and provide support.

Job Description:

• Develop and optimize machine assembly processes, workflows, SOPs, and work instructions based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Design and validate assembly tooling, fixtures, and gauges to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and support new product trials and assembly validation.
• Identify production bottlenecks, troubleshoot assembly issues, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and first-pass yield.
• Monitor critical quality control points to ensure products meet design and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including assembly drawings, process flows, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to standardize assembly processes and provide technical support.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, technical drawings, and relevant engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive learning attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to interact directly with customers.
• Team-oriented, detail-minded, and able to follow established procedures.
• Good command of Mandarin Chinese is preferred as need to communicate with China team.
