Job summary

IAQ Energy Facility Management Sdn. Bhd. in Kulim, Kedah seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee site works, monitor progress, coordinate sub-contractors and liaise with client and consultants. You will report on safety, quality, and environmental compliance and support with documentation and progress reporting.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office for preparing reports and drawings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in related industry.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision and arrangement of site works and activities.
• Monitor work progress and assist sub-contractors to meet schedule and specs.
• Attend meetings and liaise with client/consultant and local authorities.
• Carry out joint inspections with client/consultant representatives.
• Responsible for all personnel functions of sub-contractors and workers on site.
• Ensure coordination of works among all sub-contractors and site staff.
• Check daily attendance of sub-contractors for lateness and absences.
• Maintain discipline and good morale at the construction site.
• Ensure site safety and health requirements are followed.
• Ensure quality of work meets specifications.
• Monitor delivery of materials and verify quality/types/dimensions.
• Prepare progress reports and other project reports.
• Accountable for quality, safety, health and environmental management.
• Undertake special assignments and related duties as assigned.

• Site supervision and arrangement of site works and other activities that are carried out at the construction site;
• Monitor work progress, assist the sub-contractors to carry out works on schedule and conform to specifications;
• Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/ consultant as well as local authorities pertaining to the project;
• Carry out joint inspection with the client’s/ consultant’s representatives;
• Responsible for all personnel functions of sub-contractors and workers at the construction site;
• Ensure coordination of works among all sub-contractors and site staff;
• Check daily attendance of sub-contractors for late arrival, absent, early departure, false claim and etc.;
• Ensure discipline and good morale maintained at the construction site;
• Ensure site safety and health requirements are maintained and practiced at all times;
• Ensure quality of work is up to specified requirements;
• Monitoring delivery of construction materials and ensure that the quality/ types/ dimension are as per the specified requirements;
• Preparation of work progress report and other relevant reports for the project;
• Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site;
• Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned

Requirements: -

• Able to operate AutoCAD software, and MS Office applications.
