Job summary

Vacpro Engineering & Trading Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate ACMV, plumbing and fire fighting systems for building services projects. You will support design-and-build and tender projects, produce shop drawings and assist on-site delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 1–3 years in MEP/HVAC design or estimation, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with ACMV, plumbing and fire fighting system design and installation.
• 1–3 years of experience in MEP/HVAC design, estimation or project engineering; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with design/estimation software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Malaysian building services codes (Bomba, JBA, IWK) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; willing to travel and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate ACMV, plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Prepare cost estimation and tender submissions for design-and-build and consultant open tender projects.
• Produce and check shop drawings; coordinate with other M&E trades.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, authorities and suppliers.
• Assist in project planning, procurement and budget control.
• Supervise site works and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of ACMV, plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Attend site meetings and inspections with relevant parties.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to the project team.
