Job summary

BENTERA BINA is seeking a design and field-focused HVAC engineer to design and develop air-conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, residential, and other building projects. You will perform cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and prepare layouts and specifications.

The role requires coordinating with architects, electrical and M&E teams, supervising installation, conducting inspections, testing, commissioning, and ongoing monitoring of system performance to ensure quality

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC and air-conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, residential, and other building projects.
• Perform cooling load calculations, airflow calculations, duct sizing, chilled-water piping calculations, and equipment selection
• Select and size HVAC equipment such as Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Fans, and Air Handling systems
• Prepare and review HVAC layouts, schematic diagrams, ducting layouts, chilled-water piping layouts, and equipment drawings
• Prepare BOQ, technical specifications, equipment schedules, and material specifications
• Coordinate HVAC works with architectural, electrical, structural, and other M&E disciplines
• Supervise and monitor HVAC installation works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues related to air-conditioning systems, ductwork, piping, and equipment installation
• Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems
• Monitor system performance, including airflow, temperature, pressure, chilled-water flow, and equipment operation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders
