Job summary

Treehouz Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical equipment and plant systems for renewable energy projects across Malaysia and worldwide. You will contribute from concept through project execution, with opportunities to bring pilot plants to reality.

The role requires a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, 2–4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD or Inventor.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant mechanical design/project experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar CAD tools.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
• Good communication skills in English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.
• Bonus points: Biomass, Renewable Energy or Palm Oil industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical equipment and plant systems that comply with project requirements, applicable codes, client specifications, and statutory regulations.
• Be part of the engineering team bringing renewable energy pilot plants from concept to reality.
• Carry out equipment improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering proposals and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities.
