About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about engineering excellence and enjoys leading the design and delivery of complex mechanical systems.
In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of mechanical systems for industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Support project execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
- Conduct engineering studies, technical evaluations, and propose practical, cost-effective design solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Review vendor submissions, technical proposals, and equipment specifications.
- Support budgeting, cost estimation, and design optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and engineering best practices.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably within Engineering Consultancy, EPC, EPCM, Industrial, Oil & Gas, Data Centre, Infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering design principles and applicable international engineering standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- Experience in mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, rotating equipment, utilities, or industrial facilities.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, or equivalent.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates with experience in mission-critical facilities or Data Centre projects will have an added advantage.
