Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract role in Johor, supporting oil & gas operations.

You will provide expert technical guidance on mechanical static and rotating equipment, and drive reliability, asset integrity, and maintenance improvement initiatives. You will work across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while delivering efficient asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience.
• Conversant with relevant mechanical codes and standards and procurement processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of the construction and commissioning of piping systems, static equipment, and rotating equipment.
• Understanding of onshore and offshore project activities.
• Experience in petrochemical / Oil & Gas facilities is highly preferred.
• Experience in plant maintenance and turnaround activities will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with reliability engineering, asset integrity, and inspection.
• Exposure to EPC and brownfield projects, as well as commissioning and start-up activities.
• Good understanding of contract, safety, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input and assurance for mechanical engineering activities, including the application and compliance of COMPANY technical standards.
• Support asset integrity, reliability, availability, and maintenance improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance documentation and provide technical recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
