Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified engineer for project execution in mechanical fields. The role requires a bachelor in Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering and strong proficiency with design and documentation software, plus knowledge of conveyor industry tools.

You will coordinate cross-location teams, manage project schedules, lead installation and commissioning, and ensure customer needs are met with efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering.
• Proficiency with design, document management, email, and spreadsheets software.
• Familiarity with conveyor industry design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with multiple projects.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Attend kick-off meetings with internal teams and customers for project discussions.
• Administer project documentation and advise production procedures/specifications.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer needs with minimal cost and downtime.
• Monitor availability of parts, accessories, tools/equipment, transportation, and human resources.
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between teams at different locations.
• Liaise with customer/vendors for in-progress and post-sales discussions.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules.
• Lead a team in installation and commissioning at the customer site.
• Liaise with other departments to identify market expectations and opportunities.

Minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic engineering

Proficiency in using software relevant to design, document management, email, and spreadsheets

Familiarity with design software and tools specific to the conveyor industry.

Tasks & responsibilities
